Description

Another render featuring my Ranger Chronicles Characters, but this time with a bit of humour! Wild Zubarra are a delicacy amongst the Felane Nomax. The are hard to catch and can put up a hello of a fight and inflict a nasty bite but Felane swear they have a superb taste. Perhaps the ladies should have thought twice when Sh'Tarn offered to get dinner. With his Nomax sub race being so good at hunting they thought he might bring back wild river salmon, but instead were in for a shock when they saw what he'd caught! Ka'Estral was speechless, or rather she could speak for her hand covering her mouth. Suranah on the other hand nearly turned inside out at the sight of a Zubarra burning slowly. "What's wrong?" enquired Sh'Tarn when he noticed the ladies were not as enthusiastic at the supper he'd cooked for them. "I suddenly don't feel hungry anymore!" replied Suranah trying desperately to keep her stomach in check. "What wrong with it? A little over cooked perhaps?" asked Sh'Tarn still unable to comprehend why the two women were not wanting to tuck in. "You know as a child", he continued "In my tribe we used to enjoy breaking these open and sharing them round." Suranah normally had a wisecrack for everything and now was no exception. "Well as a child I used to suck my toes. Perhaps afterwards I could offer my feet around as desert!" The title for this render should appeal to Crocodile Dundee fans (although I toned it down by changing the last word to crap!) If you want to catch the first Ranger Chronicles story then go to www.booksie.com/scoopey (You'll need to join the site to read it though but it is free to join and free to read and here ends my shameless self publishing!)

This reminds me of the scene in one of the Indiana Jones movies where their eating chilled monkey brains at a dinner feast. The girl Indiana is with nearly upchucks at the sight. Later he offers her an apple since she didn't eat anything for dinner after that sight. Nice work and nice story. Thanks for sharing.
