Description
Le site de Pagan, est situé au nord de la Birmanie, à 500 kilomètres de Rangoon. Ce site unique au monde compte une multitude de stupas et de temples éparpillés sur des dizaines de kilomètres carrés sur les bords du fleuve Irrawaddy. Pagan connût sa pédiode de grandeur entre 1057 et 1287, date de la destruction de la ville par Kublaï Khan.
C´est um peu l´Angkor de Birmanie. L´endroit est immense et on visite em charrete à cheval, ce qui fait partie du plaisir aussi.
The site of Pagan, is located in northern Burma, 500 kilometers from Rangoon. This site is unique in the world with a multitude of stupas and temples scattered over dozens of square kilometers on the banks of the Irrawaddy River. Pagan knew greatness of his career between 1057 and 1287, the date of the destruction of the city by Kublai Khan.
It's like Angkor in Burma. The place is huge and we visit in horse car, which is part of the fun too.
