Description

As we walked back into the building, we were shocked… everything was different, I mean this was a totally different place. It was very dark inside. The only light was from the lightning of a sudden thunderstorm (of course). FernElla, who had climbed down and into my shirt pocket, pointed as she thought she saw some stairs. Of course she was right, but I was content to just stay right here in the entryway and wait until morning. I said, “Who knows what’s up there?” She said, “Maybe there’s someone up there who can help us get out of here. And I want to find out what’s going on.” I said, “When did you get so brave?” She said, “What? You’re not afraid of Mr. Stein are you?” I said, “Nooooo! I just don’t like snooping around on someone else’s property”. She said, "It's not snooping... you work here." "I used to work here. I got fired... remember?" I hope it wasn’t a mistake, but we proceeded in the direction of the stairs. - To be continued – Thank you for looking and for your comments!
