This is a work in progress. I uploaded an earlier version a couple of days ago. Someone suggested that a background would enhance the image.
I took the central image, blew it up, filtered it, and overlayed it on the background.
What do you think? does it enhance the image?
I think it gives the image a bit more depth.

It looks like the background is ancient weathered stone! It works well with the fractal :)
