Description

Palmdale, CA, a very apropo place to put a windmill as the winds are always blowing at this stretch of the mountains. For the past two days, the winds have been howling with up to 60mph gusts. Lancaster, just north of Palmdale, is where some of the recent dust storms have been brewing that led to a car pile up on highway 14 which resulted in 4 dead. Incidentally, you're looking at the place where the San Andreas fault curves around Los Angeles. The lake you see is actually where the San Andreas runs. Thank you all for the kind words.

This foto shows how really huge those windmills are, I've seen those places where there are hundreds of them. Great capture!!
