Description

Thank you for all the comments made on my previous uploads, and to those of you whom made them your favorites. The biggest thanks to all of you that made me one of your favorite artists (if you can call my stuff art). Big thanks and hugs :) Yesterday, I was off work, no appointment, no having to meet anyone to go running, and I watched 4 movies and played on the computer. I made several images, cleaned out some of my "works in progress", but are saving most of them until I upload some of this older stuff. This image I started awhile ago, and finished it up last week. I am still learning UF, and yesterday I worked with gradient and masks. This image is more of a play with merge mode. Thanks for the click, I hope you enjoy!!

You really are doing quite well at learning UF, too, I may say! This is a good image, and I like it--the colors, the shapes, and the 3D look to some of the bottom pieces. Merge modes are fun to work with, indeed, and you can get astounding results from changing the merge modes around; the gradient you use also has a great deal to do with how things come out. Light and dark interplay have an amazing amount of effect on the way a fractal looks, and you've done well with this one! And yes, I would most assuredly call your stuff art!! I'm enjoying seeing it, that's for sure!
