Description

For a time in Prague, I something of a Franz Kafka groupie and I set the scene for this picture at an ice cream shop I visited with a group of travelers who just happened to be celebrating a birthday that day as well. THEY got into the Kafka mood as much as I did, and actually found a bookstore with the graphic novel version of "The Metamorphosis." I'd wanted to do something a bit minimalist in nature and this is what turned out. As always, thank you for viewing, a big thank you to everyone who has viewed and commented on my previous posts.

A metamorphosis indeed - not man to roach but man to growth. While the leaves seem plain they invite such metaphor of life, of substance, of the truth that remains through one's words, one's literature. What a wonderful depiction of an admirable writer. Bravo.
