Description

Just a demonstration of old TG's 3D clouds. Normally, I do not use them because of their poor rendering quality, but when carefully applied some interesting effects come out. I'm still struggling with TG2TP. I want something more than mountains, rocks, trees, and clouds. Not that there's anything wrong with a "natural" concept, just that I'm not into it. I'm off a few days for a mini-vacation to the state of Oregon - you all take care! Thanks for looking in!

very nice terrain and surface, a beautiful mood and i agree with you regarding to TG2 tech pre. it is a very inconvenient and hard to control tool with an extremely bad camera navigation system....even with it´s realtime preview. it seems to last long to get into this program, hopefully the final release will be much more user friendly...and coming out in this century....

I've struggled several times to get a "stormy" cloud cover like this- you've eclipsed all my efforts. Excellent scene and render. TG2TP is like a car without a steering wheel- your going somewhere, but you have no control.

Beautifully done Rich; I like these clouds; and, the way they are aligned so as to be in the opposed direction of the foreground landform - excellent balance here. And, the lighting is right on.

A beautiful & cold winter scene. 3D clouds are really well done. I understand your feelings about TG2, but I think that with some training, you could do the same renders (and more) with the new version.
