Aspic is the collegiate form of culinary forms that mystery meat is to grade school and SOS is to military chow. I picture a dietitian with hands clasped to her bosom as her heart flutters beneath imaginary menus upon greeting this rogue. The MUZAK in the elevator peaks and the evening crowd emerges dressed for evening fare. "Did you see that guy palm his dinner plate? Just like Meadowlark Lemon of the Globetrotters with a basketball!!"

Fantastic character, love the detail, excellent work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great character (in particular, the blue eyes in the dark face stare out very intensely), fantastic lighting & powerful overall image. I usually don't like frames around images, but this one is really well-integrated into the composition. Outstanding work...
leoshades
That is a keen character...

don't forget dormice dipped in honey...;) great pic.

Great character, full of details and personality. The only think that, IMHO, seems really strange is the fact that his face is so strongly lit, being under a opaque hood.

Right, now listen here mate... you just have to put together a portfolio of these works and get yourself recognised. At the very least as a book jacket artist. All this stuff is too good not to be seen by a wider audience. Oh, and by the way, this is not bad either :¬)

Cool!

Wow... that's quite a character. Looks like the render is just your starting point, to beginning your fun with the postwork. Very classic fantasy style... and that's not at all a bad thing.

Wow..excellent..

I've just realized I missed this awesome 'digital painting' earlier today. It is truely magnificent and I love the way you 'reconstruct' the past in showing what a Middle-Age knight could have looked like, and the way you do that requires an awesome skill in digital graphics programs I am far from reaching and even comprehending.Your artwork is dazzling, and the amount of postwork colossal. What's more, this knight has a soul, looking so resigned to his fate in his gorgeous costume. You're amazing Jeff :-)5+++++
