Description

Azgar, the bald mutant of the World of Agorth, watches the Castle from a nearby observation post. For today is the Day of the Bell, when all the slaves are accounted for and stand stock still from dawn until dusk in the Castle Courtyard. Legend has it that the Bell was cast into a glass sphere by the Ancient Castle Keepers, and drifts around the World, to appear annually at a given day, at a given time, at the place from whence it came. No one knows the truth of this, but I know that for 6 score years and 10 it has done this, and the muffled clanging of the bell always awakens me from my sleep and fills me with dread.
