Description
Splits in Parts
Precious things
Inside the soul
Cannot be taken
Fires that burn
Waters to grow
Lightning strikes twice
Thunder booms the blaze
Clouds blow in
Winds turn the dust
Ashes to burn alone
Eyes of life
Soul of night
Rivers run deep
Hard rain that cries
Bends that turn
This way and that
Woke up in the land
Just want you to know
Who I am to love
Different is clear
Clever to most
Opens new ways
Better than not
Awareness beware
Running against the wind
Sweet tasting hello
Wild hair blows
Slaps across face
Windblown skies
Nowhere to run

I love the opening lines of your poem - beautiful. And this image is different and wonderful! The texture you've used are very cool.

A bold and powerful image to go with a bold and powerful poem! There is something very eye-catching aobut your image and I do like the lines "Just want you to know, Who I am to love". Sublime.

Beautiful art and writing! (As someone once described TallPockets: From the tiny acorn grows the mighty oak). WINK. My best to you and yours, T.P.
ARTWITHIN
Beautiful, powerful poem, Linda. It looks like a person sleeping in one of the capsules of this transport, maybe in a cocoon like structure. I think it goes wonderfully with the poem. You are doing a great job, SP! Hugs and love, Suzanne ;-)
