Well I wish you luck, I too know the pain of a losing a pc friend(sniff,sniff). I'm no expert but maybe it can still be saved, take it to a professional even the Best Buy Geek Squad(not cheap)but proper service is your best option.

Oh Sherrie baby, I know what that is. And yes it really does suck. Just have to fight though it. No other choice. Hate the thought of it. Hoping that you have great luck in getting it straightened out.

Oh I'm so sorry about the sudden loss of your PC! I'm sure that they can fix your PC! I really do not hope that you have to look around for a graveyard! Hopefully till soon again!!! Sorry that I cannot comment that this is a wonderful work with a fabulous looking atmosphere! LOL

Had a similar problem a couple of years back. It was the motherboard that expired. What was worse was the replacements refused to work as well until I invested in an A-Bit board which has worked fine since. If it is a hardware failure other than your drive you should be ok with your stuff. Hope you get back into circulation soon.

That is really bad news! I know how you must feel cause I remember how we felt when my wife's old PC died in August. Most of the data lost and impossible to recover anything from the harddrive without too big an expense... Hope it will be not as bad for you and hope t see you rendering again soon! Hugs Dro

Darn that sucks! I pray you don't have to redo all your rutimes again, this is a a real pain to redo when you start from a fresh window instalation!Yikes!

What a shame, Sherrie! Hope you get it back up and running with a minimum of difficulty!

oh - I had 2 or 3 pcs that died before their time - hope it can be fixed. there is a good chance that only the bootsector is damaged, but not the HD itself. did you try to boot with a CD (maybe an emergency cd or a knoppix/knoppicillin-CD, or the Windows Setup CD or a simple DOS boot floppy) to see, if your PC does anything at all ??? in case your monitor stays totally dark and no single beep, try to replace your RAM modules.

So sorry Sherrie, sounds like the motherboard. I had one do that to me quite awhile back. It would just cycle and cycle saying it was loading windows and never would. One option might be to get a new motherboard with a very small hard drive which would be 'c' and maybe keep the old hard drive which would then become 'e' or 'f' or whatever. Dunno for sure if this would work and I'm rambling so all I can do is wish you the best of luck.

Just to disconnect the wire from power and you test to relight I know that is not to suppose to do it it is right to remove the remainder of the capacity inside and to remake to return your bios to nine awaits two three minutes then replogist your wire of power then réessaie to relight so sometimes it set out again it should give again you Windows if not to be the better or defective battery little ok. If that I function would be very satisfied Bravo and paid attention to you and your jewels MICKEYRONY........................................................((Vraiment affaisé ma Belle tu peus essayer quelque chose juste pour voir ??? Juste déconnecter le fil de power et tu essai de rallumer je sais cela n'est pas supposer le faire c'est juste pour enlever le reste du pouvoir à l'intérieur et pour refaire revenir ton bios à neuf attend deux trois minutes puis replogue ton fil de power puis réessaie de rallumer si parfois il repartait il devrait te redonner le windows sinon peu être la batterie plus bonne ou défectueuse ok . Si cela fonctionne je serais très satisfait Bravo et fait attention à toi et tes joyaux MICKEYRONY))
