Description

This is a WIP of something I've foolishly started work on. There are over 400 parts so far, and I've already begun meshing and grouping. Built in Rhino 2, and this test render was made in C4D.

nice atmosphere, looking good so far. Are you going to keep it monotone?

Very nicely done. A little Big Brother, a little Metropolis, and a dash of R.U.R. Things to Come? Where's Raymond Massey and those impossibly big shoulders? Looking forward to seeing how this develops. Good Luck.

Thanks for the comments everyone. To answer redline's question, I hope to get it textured up eventually, and release it as a free Poser prop/scene. It will be modular to a degree, so you need only add the parts you want...like my last prop (plugplug*) over at PlanIt 3D.

This composition reminds me a a lot of my visit to Hoover dam, due to both mood and POV - this was the exact POV I saw the "engine room" in the facility for the first time. Great work Paul!

Impressive. It's all been said above. Just one observation, despite being an industrial interior, this scene to me has a battle-mech universe sort of "feel" to it. House Steiner perhaps. Wrong again I'm sure!

bluehermit - I'm eventually aiming for a sorta "steampunk" feel. I've made several alterations already so I'll post another WIP sometime.
