Excellent! Dramatic colors and composition. Is the Discovery a plastic or resin model? Or is it CGI?

The star-'field' is charming. Did you paint it yourself, or is it from an astronomical photograph? I have a LCD monitor which is very bright. Beacuse of this, I can see a suare around the engine flare, which I assume is the transparent plane it was on. Aside from this (and because I will always love 2001) I really enjoyed this image.
