just a self portrait i did for a contest...apparently it wasnt very good, cuz only 3 people voted for it, and one was me...*sigh* oh well, i like it...

Awwww. I like it. And it does look like you. It's about time you start signing them though. (smile) The reason why the cat looks stuffed is because he doesn't sit like that on your lap. One of his legs would have to be off because of the curvature of your knee. His tail needs work too. But your lighting and shadows are MUCH better. cujoe_da_man, her hair is a bit lighter.

As long as you keep trying, and learning, it doesn't have to be the best of litter. Don't forget there are plenty of birds in the forest. If only the best one sang, it would be a far less symphonic sound. Sing for as long and hard as you want. Its still music. The pumpkin princess will be alright.
