I was born in the USA where I still reside. I have been painting and sculpting for thirty years. My sculptures have been sold through Disneyland, Disneyworld, Dillard’s, Dancing Dragon Magazine, and at many of the National Parks and major gift stores across the United States. While I loved sculpting and creating in clay, the business of mass production was another story. After three years in the wholesale business (sculpting, making molds, pouring the molds, painting the sculptures and packing the sculptures, some boxes weighing 75 Lbs.). I quit. You see I missed the creative side of me. I was lost in all the orders and bill collecting and shows, not to mention a sells rep that always took orders for more than I and the four people that worked for me could produce! Sounds like Rumplestiltsken! It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done but I walked away and never looked back.... well maybe a couple times!
I returned to my first love. PAINTING! And I love what I do!!! My images, whether digital, watercolor or acrylics hopefully engage the viewer and invites them to explore mystical fantasy worlds where imagination and wonder still exist.ÂÂ
The piece above is a self portrait done in watercolor and acrylic. The dragons represent my many muses. The yellow dragon is the creator and painter in me. The blue dragon whispering in my ear fills my head with many ideas, and the red dragon is the inner child in me. The tiny fairy cradled in my palm represents the many facets of fantasy which I have always felt a connection to.
I want to thank all those who have left such wonderful comments. It’s very encouraging for me to read. There are so many talented artists to see here and it is an absolute joy to be apart of.  Your artwork is such an inspiration.ÂÂ
Hugs and best wishes to all the artists and art fans out there! Follow your dreams!! ÂÂ

A wolf with glowing eyes - spooky! I like the way the fairy connects with the toadstools, and they in turn point to the wolf, but the red robe, the beautiful face, and those fingers catch our attention and make the picture memorable - particularly for you, I'd guess.

This is really pretty. I love the sense of motion and the curiously analytical expression on her face. Well done.
