Description

All modelled by me in Cinema4D (objects) and Vue (room), except the pot (Vue stock object), the Tintin rocket ( from the web), and Linda's Lush goddess bambus. Very high custom radiosity & caustics settings, displacement ( lamp cord), many lights, reflections & refraction. The only thing I didn't add was an area light, lol! 11 hrs render, quite surprising, in a very good way! Thanks for your visit & comments.

I always say and you demonstrate it here beautifully, simple geometry with decent material shaders all rendered with the correct atmospheric settings make for an excellent image.

well worth the render time IMHO, I've been fumbling around trying to do something like this myself for ages now but you've nailed it

Hey, the rocket is very distracting! AND, it is bigger than the one I have! Annoying! The rest? Is there a rest? Yes, there is - a beautiful modelling excercise, but not only. A very elegant and very well done scene too. Klasse!

Well done Bruno! Good that you kept the wall fairly dark, to accent the great highlights of the chrome. Red rocked is a good accent color for your color scheme (maybe you need to write "Wabe's Rocket" on it though). I would have made a volumetric light cone for the lamp (but i'm a volumetric lighting nut). As usual, only 26% of people viewed it full screen. Hey folks, you're missing out here!
