Description

Nikon 7900 image. I have attempted to get a good shot of one of these spiders for a long time. I see them in a lot of places but they are very very small and until today I was unsuccessful in my attempts. Persistence seems to have paid off because I now have 3 good images of one of them to share. As is usual, I noticed the bright colors of one of them and decided to try again. I guess the light was right or I held my tongue just right because to my surprise, I managed to finally get it right. The other two images will be posted during the next two days. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

You have got to be excited about this one. I know I am. Even if someone is not a fan of spiders, they have to be of this one. The colors are magnificent! The side view really shows off its long stilt-like legs. Excellent

The side view you captured of this guy/gal could be a wonderful abstract :) If you tilt slightly, looks like the center of the colors appear to look like a fresh corn cob opened lol! (And I too, have not seen such colors on a spider) Bravo!

This isn't radio active is it? lol. The finds that you have in your 'back yard' are out of this world Lee. You don't happen to live in this 'Area 51' do you? I'm sure half of them are from another planet. I know I have said this before but it still holds true, you never cease to amaze me, with both the finds and the quality of your captures.
