Description

Maybe this is too minimalist to be a real architecture. I don't like dark corners and upper and lower creases where you have to put lights or unused furniture. This even secretly poses a threat of concaveity to the OS. It's part of my examination of ambient lighting with the lucite rods that hold it together being respectively CMY and the walls being K in the ambient channel. The anisotropy in this frame is in not having a thick front face. There is no need for a door to enter the box formed by the five thickened planes.

fascinating, I imagine those rods would look great with light shone through them. A use for !in-scattering" perhaps?

Inscattering might be next. I have found none of my apps did light down a telescope tube or array of tubes, for that matter. Since the color here is in ambient one would not expect it to respond to adding lights. It also has nothing to do with modelling being very flat even in these cylindrical tubes. What one could do with inscattering is examine the Froude number of fog as one increases to rain and beyond to a waterfall and then a liquid body of a variable size. Trying to do the analog with dust all the way past landslide to solid body would probably not be similar. Which brings up plasma as lucid form. Not truly a fluid it has fluid properties.

I suppose my thinking about anisotrpy is now concerned most with a fly buzzing randomly next to a lit velvet wall. I would love to do the animation to explore the non-superposition of vectors produced by the normal to the wall and the fly's velocity. This is something I once characterized by the phrase skew angle. It is a very non-theoretical angle.

I see it as sculpture; perhaps because a friend of mine, Frosty, was heavy into lucite boxes that stacked and interplaned. Nice bit.
