Description

The green fog twists and evaporates. Out of its depths marches the Necromancer's undead army, a sea of rotting limbs and putrid flesh, their minds filled with despair and hatred, their will bent solely on the complete destruction of the Kindred Keep. Their advance is swift and relentless, the silence broken only by the occasion unhappy cry of the trolls who trudge along nervously in their midst. Atop the Kindred battlements, Margull watches the advancing army with growing certainty. "This will be my final battle," he thinks to himself. "Tonight I die. For my General. For my family. For my people." He glances sideways and notices the archer beside him trembling slightly, obviously coming a similar realisation himself. With a visible effort, the young orc shakes free of his fear and draws his bow, a look of deadly determination crossing his face. "May your aim be true, son," Margull whispers, then shouts his orders: "Let 'em have it! For your families! For all of orc kind! Death to the abominations! Death to Kiana!" (at the mention of her name, many orcs curse and spit) "Let's send these bastards into the abyss!" The orcs emit a mighty war cry as hundreds of arrows sail into the night. The young orc's aim is true. Credits: Curio's Keep. Undead created using Rawn's zombie textures combined with some random noise patterns and displacement. Plants and trees from Vue 6 Infinite. Enhance:C and TerrainTools (for reed placement) from DigitalCarversGuild. Skeleton Dragon and Troll from DAZ3D. Posed in Poser 6. Rendered in Carrara 6 Pro. Notes: Hi everybody! It's been a while. In fact, almost a year to the day since my last image.
