thanks for the comments all :) Cauchy: I did all of the water in photoshop CS, the rain is basicaly some white dots with a motion blur filter added and rottated a little.(also adjusted the levels to bring it out a bit) the ground water is a lot trickier, I used a plastic wrap filter to give it a watery look, then pond riple filter for the rain drops hiting the ground(for each dropplet), then a liquify (multiple times) to get the running effect along the wall. and the splashes on the pipes/drainspout was done like the rain, just more concentrated. and alot of trial and error lol, gotta love undo hope that helps :) I started out just making a night scene, then thought it would look alot moodier if it was also in the rain, it took a bit of trying to get it sortted out, too much rain and it obscured the lady and the details, not enough and it didnt feel right lol I could still work on it in places but it's to a point where i can say ok its done enough and let it go, otherwise i'd be refineing things forever. hehe I allways drove my highschool art teacher nuts with that :)

Nice composition and scene, its got that great dramatic, suspenseful feel to it. And the rain really helps set the atmosphere and modd as well as the lighitng. Nice job with the rain effect, takes alot of gots to mess with that in post on a poser piece. I personaly think fire and water are the hardest to pull off realisticly, but you did good man
