Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Very steep and the size of the climber gives a better perspective of the vast size of this place. great shot!

The shadow makes the image :-) !!!!! Very surprising

Would love to visit Yosemite ! I cant quite work out the perspective here, which makes this shot all the more intriguing, its almost like one of those Escher drawings.

Great angle and composition...your son has a great eye and apparently wonderful inhereited drives! Great work and a great post! I do LOVE the contrasts as well, especially with the shadow across the bottom. It adds an extra dimension to the already apparent depth. Great work!
