Description

22-10-2006 - Today it`s a memorial day - for me: I`m one year in photography!- This is my first pic ever done with my Nikon Coolpix, exactly one year ago. In only one year changed a lot of things, and I did nearly 4 000 pics since then. My camera was a christmas present, and I never used it for more then 10 months. I hate this thick manuals in strange languages as arabian, japanese, turkish, polish or something other languages... My wife said often words like "ebay" and thought about to sell it again... One year ago we spent a holiday on the isle of Madeira, and there my photographic pleasures began - with a little help of my wife, of course. Yes, I had taken photos earlier - analogue photos with bad cameras, false handling, and I spent a lot of money in my whole life for lousy pics..... All this were the reasons that I used my new camera after more then 10 month at first, but one year later I thing that is is a good connection.... Thanks to all of you at RR for your interest, for your comments and for your "good vibrations". This was very helpful. And thanks to Daraniel for this beautiful present and for her helping hand in all situations....THANKS! Postwork done here by daraniel - of course!

This is a marvelous shot! I can't believe you haven't done more of this. You have an excellent eye and the compo here is interesting and the pov just right. I love the details...the shade canopy, the cross on the blue building, the house way up on the hill in the distance, the sky so gray and threatening...it all makes a very good shot.
