Description

This is my son roaming the nearly deserted beach that only a few months ago attracted swarms of people trying to beat the heat. We went back to our favorite summer spot to see the fall color. We both agreed it felt rather lonely now that school has started. Here's to a great summer full of wonderful memories! May your week be filled with a positive glow. Blessings and thank you for your visits and comments on my previous uploads. Jodie Please visit my personal website...

The mood of loneliness is very well captured and along with the autumn colors it makes for a very good composition.

Hey, maybe your summer is over, but not for us folks out here in So Cal! Not with temps of 96 degrees Fahrenheit forecast for tomorrow in the LA basin. BTW, California has four seasons: floods, wild fires, earthquakes, and riots. In any event, a great POV and DOF depicting the clarity, colors and textures of the foreground, landscape and placid lake. Your son really stands out in this shot.

Yes, you caught that nostalgic moment when one realizes time has passed and is gone. The Autumn years become more real (and more precious) every year that passes.
