I wanted to post something to tell you all I am way behind on comments and all and will be for a few days. You see, my heart is on fire. Southern California is burning alive. It's horrid and my heart is breaking. I have friends who've lost everything. Ok, so they're wealthy people, but loss is loss in any price range. They can buy new stuff, get a bigger house, live on their yachts, but all their pictures, lifelong memorabilia are ash. So much beauty is burning. It's like something from a movie. The sun is blood red and tonight the moon is glowing reddish orange. It's hot and the air is thick with smoke and ash. The ash covers everything. It's like nuclear winter, only really hot. So many animals are dying and some are running wild in the city streets in quiet neightborhoods like mine dazed and crazed and some are hurt. Cops and city workers are trying to keep wild critters from runing into heavy traffic areas. Many people have been burned, but thankfully only 2 deaths so far. We have some really good burn units here, but they're filling up. Firefighters are heroes for sure. They're dedicated, committed, and relentless in what they do. I'm in awe of each one of them. I'm in awe of how they handle the people just as much as I'm in awe of how they handle the flames and property. They risk their lives to save anything they can save and to protect what they can. Thank God, Arnold, and the government the fire fighters will get some help. The military is coming and more planes and other resources as well. There are 3 kinds of people in this world. Those that run from an accident and those that run to an accident. And then they are firefighters, the 3rd kind of people, they run into it! God bless each one and I pray for their strength and that they're safe. And then we find that 2 of the huge fires are arson related, intentionally set by the scum of the earth. It's one thing for the devil winds, called the Santa Ana's, to blow their hot destruction and start fire after fire, but to have humans, worse than devils, do it is beyond me and it's beyond me to think of what kind of person or persons do that. When they get caught, I hope they have to work 12 hours a day on a chain gang 7 days a week replanting the beauty they destroyed for the rest of their lives. Or they could just set them on fire where they find them. No matter to me. So, I'm sorry if I miss some of your images. I'll shut up now. Thank you for your time.
