Description
Looking East towards the bird reserve at Nairn Bar and Culbin forest. The shifting sands covered a village in a storm around 100 years ago at Culbin.

I was there exactly 12 months ago - I remember that the early evening light had an incredible, soft quality to it. We also visited the battle field at Culloden, just a couple of miles away - a very sombre place even in sunlight, haunted by the 1200 Scots slaughtered there in a battle that was never theirs to win ... ... ... Great image - love those underwater features!
