The sun is pervasive. It has values in cold climes to rival warm ones. It gets in wherever an openning is left. It does cost dearly at times when the taunts of jailers and nurses mock with, "Never see another sunrise, never hear another baby cry!" Fortunately, Satan is bigger than that.
