Yer I know, original title for this one...lol This is part of an old Paperbark tree that must of fallen over the last time the river rose, I just love old driftwood and barky stuff, it has so much character...

What a unique capture. The trunk of trees is seldom depicted as so elegantly uprooted. Perhaps a reminder of the circle of life, your image reminds me that even the strongest must sometimes fall. But the process is beautiful nonetheless. You capture the texture wonderfully. Interesting POV. Congratulations.

Would you call this monochromatic? All shades of one color. I love it. I love all the different textures and shapes. Wonderful even!
