I know what these are - poinciana...there's dwarf poinciana trees and then the big ones....they get real big...had them in my back yard when I lived in S. Fl Excellent shot !

It looks quite different from the various Bird's of Paradise flowers I am used to - the most beautiful being the ones that only bloom every seven years. Beautiful capture!
