Description

This beautiful lichen growing on a tree-stem I would like to dedicate to Tunde (Babuci), as a homage to her many wonderfully composed series, especially the excellent "Wooden skin". She also was one of the first to welcome me here on RR, where I now feel right at home. :) Hope you like it!

This is astonishing. I've never seen this fungus before and the way it ruffles on the tree and sends up those yellow dots is absolutely incredible. This is a stunning capture.

Thank you so much for this picture Eva. Did you know I am mad about fungies and mosses? Doubble treat for me, I love it. I have one this but just a plain greyis colored. Your so much "alive" with a lime colored edge and a fruits in a middle in orange. It is called rock moss/lichen.

I'm so glad you like it! I did not know it's name, but they grow in great numbers on trees in Gotland. This picture is not manipulated in any way, the colours are this way. Glad to share the fungi/moss/lichen-madness with you. :) Take care.
