This shot was taken yesterday, it was a gorgeous day, sunny, still waters, perfect for walking on the
beach... now today, was a different subject, rain &
huge winds, very stormy, so as I see it, this day was a pure blessing!!!! Got to catch them while you can!!!!!
Actually, I'd like to send out some healing thoughts & prayers to all our friends & family in California who have been through a horrible nightmare these last few days!! The wildfires & relentless winds have caused a huge loss of property and many animals. Please know that the whole world is pulling for your speedy relief!!!! Collective positive mental thoughts & prayers work wonders!!!!! Please join me in sending plenty to this horrible situation!!!!!!!! thanks... Akemi

Just heard that smoke from the fires is extending as much as 900 miles off the coast. That much smoke has got to have a lot of fuel. How sad. This is a beautiful shot.

Marvelous capture of a most serene vista. It is hard to believe that this calm locale can be interrupted by harsh winds and rain. Perhaps it is the calm before the storm’s approach. Perhaps even the calm induced by a prior storm. Magnificent.
