I think the rusty barbed wire is fantastic. I don't agree that the leaf lends anything to that other than maybe a slight distraction from what I think is an excellent shot.

WOW! This is impressive!!! I love the contrast of the rust and the leaf! The focus is superb, and there's even a great sense of mood imparted by the whole composition! I love it!

I think I agree with PJ to a certain extent, the leaf would have made a shot on it's own, and the barbs stand well alone. I think the only accessory required when shooting barbed wire is a bit off wool. We all have our own thoughts about this I suppose. None the less a good capture David. Bravo!!!!!
