Description

Although I took a lot of photos which are intended as backgrounds on my recent holiday to Florence (also visited Pisa and Siena, both lovely places!), I also took a load of the usual holiday snaps. Here is one that I think came out particularly well! Just thought I'd share this one - I won't bore you with a load of these, I know that people can get easily bored just looking at other people's holiday snaps.... Many thanks for looking and for all the recent feedback. Phil

Platin asked about postwork - virtually none, only than a very minor tweak of levels, downsizing and addng my "logo" (such as it is!). The River Arno seems very still much of the time - no river cruises to disturb it. I noticed the same at Pisa which is further down the same river.

remember the city; you can't take a bad picture there..;) I liked the statue devoted to the Risorgiomento (sp?), with a six-gun in one hand, and a fallen comrad in the other. Great memories, and thanks...
