Description
This is beaver pond part of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Not sure how it got its name as I’ve never seen a beaver or signs of a beaver there. It has become one of my favorite spots because it’s so quite and peaceful. The water in the pond is clear and cold all year, feed from an underground stream that comes out of the side of a hill just a little further up the trail. Thanks for your views and your comments.
