This is another shot from Green Lakes State park. This was taken back in the spring..The park is one of the few "Old growth" forests around here.

Great capture of a unique natural phenomenon. When looking at trees, I often forget that gravitational pull acts against the upward growth. The curvature though is spectacular, fascinating, and indeed elegant. The POV suggests that the trees go on forever, that they have endured many centuries and hold many stories. Intriguing.
