Description

She could still hear the music and laughter echoing thru the castle. Still feel the sting of the bright candle lit rooms in the back of her eyes, and the heavy scent of roses in bloom... Suddenly, she felt the tears begin to form, and knew they would soon be streaming down her cheeks. She knew she should feel grateful, she had so much! She was surrounded by so many people, how could she feel so alone and empty? For now, finding this dark escape gave her a few minute to collect her emotions. Soon...she would have to return to the loud, shrill, voices. A place filled with men and women preening and fluffing for attention... a cold wind swept around her, and she felt a chill run up her spine...
