Yes, I know, epiphany is a big word, but I think I hit one today.

I was going through some older images to decide what to post next in my gallery and this is the one I decided on - not because it is all that good, not because it is sharp and in focus (which it is not), but because it means something to me. And once I realized that I realized that this is what I want my photography to be about - moments I treasure, things that mean something to me - even if none of it may mean anything to anyone else, or may not look like a good photo at all.
But what I still want to do is share these moments with you all, even if you will not assign a big bright five-star rating to it.
While I am still a bit hesitant to say "it's all about me", I guess in the end it still is. What you make of the photgraphic results of this I leave up to you. :-)
Oh, and this is a shot of the hedge that stands on the edge of the little plot of land I've grown up on. Viewing this maze of branches is what I grew up with, and something that defined the "borders" of my childhood, just in case you were wondering what this particular mess meant to me. :-)

I'd already read it, Andreas. I hear you. I guess we all have such special places, moments, details that are only special to us and nobody else. Thanks for sharing :-)
