Description

Just another aspect of the Buddhist Procession, which was huge Apparentily it not um great event, it was a weekday, not even holliday Just a basic commemoration, a small party, normal I think that is also a reason why I love the Burmese people They don’t are simple, minimalist, reasonable, basic They love partys, colors, all that glitters, are completely elfin I think people tend to justify a little too fast certain aspects not pleasants of peoples by their recent pass The Burmese have cross the English occupation, after the Japanese, fighting and bombing of the World War II Just a brief period of hope with the independence and they fall in one of the worst dictatorships in the world Add at this the poverty and the total lack of infra structures, medical services, schools All this not scratched Burmese culture and their way of life They can discuss politics, someone have the courage to tell hat really happens But they never complain, don’t a suspicious towards foreigners like most ditactorships They are the most tolerant people I never see – certainly because to their form of bouddhisme- open to the others, curious, warm, hospitable, love feasts, cerimonys, dressing in princes, princesses, kings and queens Completely feeric

There is no way on this Earth that I could be there to see this in person, yet I am there and enjoying everything about the Burmese people, through your eye's Mousson. Thank you for yet another look at this 'everyday parade'. Wonderful pov, you must have been in the parade yourself. The costumes of the girls are absolutely stunning, the making of these must be time consuming for they look very intricate. Wonderful image and narrative as always. Bravo!!!!!

These festivities are their short escape from the yoke of their dictators' opression. By this, not having much other outlets or joys, they also manage to keep their traditions alive like maybe nowhere else in Asia. They are lovely young people beautifully and traditionally attired. You jumped right in there to get this precious image.

I cannot even begin to imagine all the work that goes into the making of these costumes! I'm sure that it is mostly done by hand. I don't see how this stuff could be mass produced! An amazing capture.
