Great shot, were you in a plane or a copter? But, LOL, is this all there is to this place, I expected more...sorta looks like a little city in the making...

I've often wondered about the allure of Las Vegas. If you capture fireflies at night and put them in a jar they are quite beautiful. The next morning when you're ready to release them, you notice that you only have a jar of bugs. That's what Las Vegas reminds me of. Excellent photo. I take it that you had a window seat. Well done!

This is a great shot. It's interesting how it looks more spread out from the air than it does from the ground.

Welcome home, Richard. We missed you. This is a fabulous shot of Vegas. I remember when almost all the hotels/casinos were only a few stories high. This makes me realize how much Vegas has changed since I've been able to go there. I look forward to more in the series.

We've got kin who live in Vegas. It has never impressed me much. I think I prefer Reno with its small town feel. Nice shot if this sin city.

I have been to Vegas many times. But, I have never been to the Stratosphere. Vegas always looks great when the night lights are shining. During the daytime, is a different story. Just like any other place. Wonderful capture. Hope you gambled and won some money. Welcome back. Aloha

I have always wanted to go to Las Vegas... Of course I am scared of heights so would have to get over plane fright first.. Are you in a plane now...when you took this pic..whew dizzy grin Your in the city of bright lights and the town that never sleeps... You won't be gambling but you'll be snapping pics like crazy.... Looking forward to the series...thank you for the journey Maybe the only time I will see it is through you trip and post... Love this still getting over the height he he Hugs Susan~
