I picked up Poser to help me with starting an illustration career (after many years working as a graphic artist and even more as a traditional figure artist) and got totally sidetracked into the crazy world of 3D.
I discovered that good artists here fall into two groups, the content creators and the artists/illustrators who use the content to serve their vision. I thought I would be one of the latter but I seem to be more interested in deconstructing the content and figuring how it was created so I guess I'm veering into the former, and a whole new world (and hopefully career!).
Right now I'm really still learning the tools and how to use the content (posing, lighting, shaders (!!!) etc) so my images are very simple and I'm not sure anyone would be interested but I thought I might as well take some small steps into this big, scary world...
I would very much appreciate any constructive comments anyone would have to make!

This is a nice render and I like how colors are changing from bottom to top. I just not sure about eyes ^_^"

I agree with you Kattey. I'm trying to re-work the eyes. Not sure why they're going blackish. I think it has something to do with the lighting. Thanks for commenting!

Just in case anybody wants any figures eyewhite lighter - this can easily be reached by setting - in the material room - select "Sclera" - set "Diffuse Value" to 1.3 (instead of the 1.0 preset in my mat settings) Thanks for the post, Diane - I simply love the image - and sorry for abusing your gallery for a tutorial....
