This spider was carrying the eggs with him (or her, not sure). I snuck up to get this shot, and he ducked into the underbrush there. When he came back out, there were no eggs with him. I guess he thought it better to hide the eggs, and come fend me off. I left this area for a bit, and came back to find him out on the log again with the eggs, sunning. :o) Spiders are pretty neat, even if you're like me and don't like them very much. lol.
