La cérimonie du Shin Piu dure une bonne partie de la journée Ici, les prières avant la coupe de cheveux du garcon En premier plan, le pére, la mére, soeurs et la famille proche du garcon C´est une cérémonie trés importante pour eux, presque comme un marriage dans d´autres cultures Il y avait un cinégraphiste pour tout filmer
Pratiquement à chaque fois j´étais le seule étranger S´il a d´autres, ils passent, prendrend deux ou trois photos et s´em vont Je reste toute la cérémonie Il faut dire que peut de temps après quelqu´um qui represente la famillie vient toujours m´inviter formalment à prendre partie Déjà, ils ont compris que je ne suis pas là em paparazzi, pour faire une photo exotique et m´em aller, mais que je m´intéresse vraiment à ce qui se passe et- dans la mesure du possible, j´essaye de participer
D´abord, avant de mettre lês pieds dans um pays je cherche le maximun d´informations sur la culture et les coutumes Donc, même sans connaitre lês détails, je comprends ce qu´il se passe et j´agis em conséquence, avec lê respect dû On passe ne pas n´importe ou, on ne monte pas n´importe ou pour avoir le meuiller angle, on pas devant n´importe qui
L´autre régle est de pás descendre et se precipiter sur les gens comme si c´était une parade quelconque On sourrit à tout le monde, on cumplimente de la tête et quand on repére les gens importantes, soit la famille, soit des religieux, on salue avec les mains jointes et on incline la tête Pas toujours facille avec deux Nik ons lourds e leurs zooms, plus le sac fourre tout, mais obligatoire C´est valable pour tous lês pays
Ce n´est pás une stratégie, j´ai commencé à faire ça instinticvement pour entrer em contact avec les gens et j´ai beaucoup perfectioné depuis
Les gens , de differentes cultures, voient immediatement la différence S´il y a d´autres étrangers ils sont aussi bien traités Mais je ne les vois pas être invites d´honneur , aller à la maison avec la famille et des tas d´autres choses Je crois que même suivre les cérimonies entières, qui souvent durent des heures et des heures, les intéressent pas
Je ne dit pas qu´ils ont tort, chacun voyage pour certaines raisons et les miennes ne sont pas les memes
C´est peut être la difference entre le touriste et le voyageur, mais je trouve cela un peu prétentieux Tout le monde se dit du cote du voyageur

It certainly pays to do your research Mousson, if you are kind to a person do they not return the favour? If you respect a person should they not respect you. You are not one to force yourself upon there beliefs you respect them and try and learn their ways, in turn they respect you and invite you into their family. This is a good thing and fitting that they think of you in this way. As always your time spent waiting as been well worth it, for I am sure the tourist does not get the picture like this. Only one that respects the initiation service and is considered family could get a shot like this. I look all around and I do not see any faces looking directly into the camera. This shows to me that they have accepted you and do not mind that you take the photographs of them. We have a saying around this part of the world that is " You're part of the furniture " That is to say you belong here or you are accepted here. I think this is how all your friends over there think of you. Bravo Rosely!!!!!

What you say is so true...doing the research and understanding the customs before you go..no matter where on earth it is. Doors open to those who are felt to be "sympatico" to their way of life. I discovered that in Korea as well as China and Thailand. To be an "invited guest" is defiantely an honor, as you get to see things from theri perspective. Wonderful photo...as usual!
