Description

Terragen 2 Tech Preview and Photoshop. The terrain is one I had forgotten about and re-discovered; two image overlays, two cloud layers. Thanks for views and comments.

Nice one Paul...I'm still lost using TG2 and waiting for a few more improvements...looks like you have the populations (trees) down pat!!

I like the way terragen renders the levels of different minerals in the rocks- it looks very realistic. Cool terrain you created here- and the shadows cast by the clouds look exceptional!

Nicely composed clouds...the textures work well and I echo luc's comment on the light. To achieve realism the palms you used tend to grow in groves or clumps so you mught think about that for future populations. They can be dispersed with image map masks and that is one way of getting clumps of them scattered without using multiple populations. I plan on doing a tutorial on dispersal wuit masks as soon as I finish my one on roads in TG2 which I have Death Twister beta testing for me to see if I can actually communicate what it is I do.. ...

Just fabulous, Paul! What an ambitious project and superbly realized. Terrain, light and clouds blow me away. I'm inspired!
