Description

New spin on one of my older images. As it came together, it felt like a perfect metaphor for what Cartesius is doing at the moment. So I decided to dedicate it to him. May your voyaging be fruitful and a pleasure. Cinema4D/PhotoPaint Thanks for looking!

Incredible landscape out of Cinema! This does fit Anders situation, and here's hoping his journey is as magical as this image!

@Scanmead: I'm pretty sure that the landscape is a background photo... If I'm wrong, then hat's off to you R.W.! I really dig the design of the ship...It is very creative and sci-fi. Nice render. It's a composite of about 3 different photos with some cg insertions, rendered and re-inserted as a background. No hat's off I'm afraid. Was sorta aiming for a bit of a painterly feel for the overall image. I certainly do appreciate the comments though.

Dude, I love you old time future style in this image! Not to mention the quality is highly professional and just fascinating. The obelisk is a bit bare, but the scene is still awesome!!! The ship is the best part...so much attention to detail and the textures are very nice. +++++
