Description
This weekend I began driving in the Wal-Mart Private Fleet. I've been delivering freight to their distribution centers and stores for years. Now I'm pulling their trailers between distribution centers and from the distribution centers to their stores. It's an interesting additional duty, as we used to say in the military.

When I was in my early 20s I thought long and hard about getting financing for my own rig and taking to the highways. Short lived dream... those trucks are expensive and operating them is too. This is a great ocllage you've put together. Happy Trails. :-)

when I first moved to Texas I was driving often when there was no driver to bring equipment to the job site and it is an adventure, but I am glad I did not choose to do it permanently. it is a demanding job.looks like you have your own tractor

Wonderful views! My father was a truck driver, and he hauled aggragate in a transfer dump for years. Owned his own as owner/operator. I used to love riding with him.
