Description

most of downtown is comprised of the original casinos and a few office buildings.I stay on the far north side just at the edge of where the houses stop at the top of the picture when in Vegas.now within walking distance there is a new casino slated to open the end of 2008 I went to the Mount Charleston and the temperature was 27 F and there is a huge forest up there.the only snow was on the very top of the peak thanks for viewing and any comments. you know after a vacation it takes a while to adjust home life and I am trying to catch up on the galleries

I can see Premium Outlet Mall. I love shopping there. Most of the stuff we see about Vegas is at night time, where all the lights are shining giving a beautiful impression. Vegas is very barren but does have olive trees etc. Just don't drink the hotel room tap water..... Nice shot. Aloha

what a view! terrific shot, though i can't say that LV looks all that interesting...from this perspective it looks like one big industrial warehouse district, LOL...though the mountains are certainly nice to look at ;)

Quite the capture, Richard. I have never been to Vegas, and am amazed at the layout. Excellent view of, what I understand to be, a fabulous city!

I'm thinking North Rancho Drive is somewhere in this picture. I stopped at the Petro one day when NASCAR was in town...almost had to get a mailbox, it took me so long to get back onto the interstate 15.

Another fantastic shot of Vegas, a Vegas so changed that I wouldn't even recognize it. It's amazing that all of this has grown up in a desert. Terrific picture, Richard.
