Description

Taken this past weekend at Elmwood Cemetery's annual Halloween tour, where actors & actresses portray some of the more colorful residents who made Elmwood their final stop. They wore period dress and always remained in character, telling their story at graveside as groups of 20 to 30 people make the rounds through the extensive grounds. Each story was more than worthy of a lengthy biography or movie. This lovely woman was one of the actresses who told her saga, while her wondering husband who was also present told his side of the story as well. They are burried together at Elmwood. Until I can find my program I can't recall whom she was portraying, but all of them did such an excellent job we had the feeling of slipping back in time to a bygone era. 100 ISO, 200mm zoom lens. I'll probably post some more of her. It was an excellent event! marshall

Nice shot, agreed about the eyes, really draw you into the shot. However it does seem a bit cold in terms of colour cast... did you shoot in RAW? maybe setting the white balance might put some more natural colour to her skintone (i assume she was outside for this shot and not under flourescents...)
