Description

Located in Ellsworth Maine. Located on the southwest point of Mount Desert Island, still guides shipping in the harbor. It is a 32 foot cylindrical tower attached to a dwelling. It sits 56 ft. above sea level. In order to photograph it you have to climb the large rocks. Harbor seals are usually at the water's edge. Just a little history to go with the pic. I will start a series on Lighthouses this week from the east coast.

I love the POV; very clever to do this, the texture of the rocks is awesome, and to see the lighthouse in the mist is fantastic. Great image!!!!!!!!!!!
