Out to Find
Sometimes
I get so tired
Worn out
No spunk
So to speak
I hurt a lot
I am sorry
The sadness
Consumes me
Then I think
To get me back
Not too much
Just enough
To get me by
The tough battles
Ahead and behind
Are learning to lead
A mixed up girl
Out to find
Better parts of
A woman
Inside of me
Ghosts in the dark
Shadows in the mist
Rivers in the light
Blankets of snow
Falling
Melting
Icee slurps
Warms me up
Chills run down
Love me feels
A wonder to know

Love the sky, and I get a wonderful sort of sci-fi feeling looking at your image. Like it's part of a world I'll figure out in just a bit. Those parts are there, my friend - you are more wonderful than you know.

I can always apply your word to some aspect of my journey in the past or present. It is wonderful to journey the road of discovery. Though it seems so hard in the midst of different points on the road, there are always those respites of quiet joy, a joy within that says you have moved during your travels inward. Wonderful poem, and your image shows an openness to all along the way. Linda. Hugs and smiles, Suzanne
