After I was given some family photos of Essexes in the 1920's I find this one very mind expanding. It has some advanced features like the grille bars and some anachronisms like the wooden spoke wheels. Your photo makes it's shiney state very clear.

A very fine old lady. This is the first car I can remember my family having when I was a very young kid in the 50's. I thought it was too slow because it couldn't pass buses. Love to have one now.
